Graphic patchwork, contrasting stripes and unexpected textures give the brand’s dog sweaters a distinctive personality.

A bright blue collar frames the face. Across the back, orange meets pink, checkerboard interrupts stripes, and blocks of color turn a familiar dog sweater into a small graphic composition. VERLOOP approaches canine knitwear with a clear enthusiasm for pattern—and enough visual confidence to let several patterns share the same garment.
The appeal is immediate in the collection’s photographs. Each sweater has its own rhythm, from orderly squares to changing bands of color. Ribbed collars and contrasting chest panels give the designs definition, while the dogs themselves bring an unpredictability that makes the carefully arranged geometry all the more engaging.
Founded by designer Ella Lim, VERLOOP produces its knits in a family-owned factory in the Philippines. Its experience with textiles provides the background for a dog clothing collection built around four distinct styles: Color Patch, Pattern Patch, Patchwork Stripe and Faux Fur.
Color, arranged with purpose
The Color Patch Dog Sweater offers the clearest expression of the collection’s graphic approach. In the photographed Sport colorway, a grid of contrasting squares travels along the back, bringing together blue, orange, pink, yellow and darker tones. A blue folded collar and black ribbed chest panel frame the multicolored surface.
There is a pleasing sense of proportion here. The squares are large enough to remain legible on the dog’s body, and the solid underside gives the eye somewhere to rest. The official design includes a stretchy ribbed underside, a turtleneck collar and an opening on the back for attaching a leash to a harness.
Pattern Patch introduces a busier conversation between motifs. In the supplied photograph, turquoise and yellow stripes sit alongside pink checks, orange blocks and curved red lines. The blue-and-white collar adds another pattern, while the vivid pink chest panel anchors the composition.
Its charm lies in how the different sections hold together. Changes in scale and direction keep the surface animated, with the ribbed edges providing a consistent frame. VERLOOP lists the sweater as a washable jacquard knit made from 100 percent acrylic, with an elasticated ribbed underside and a harness opening at the back.

A different rhythm in stripes
Patchwork Stripe explores the same appetite for color through bands of varying widths. In the Rainbow version pictured, blue and orange stripes meet pink, pale mint and yellow sections. The direction and spacing shift across the body, creating a composition that feels lively without losing its structure.
A folded striped collar gives the neckline particular emphasis. On the photographed curly-coated dog, its crisp lines contrast with the irregular texture of the coat—a small detail that makes the styling especially effective.
The sweater is made from 100 percent acrylic jacquard knit and includes a back opening for harness access. Care instructions specify a cold, gentle machine wash followed by drying flat away from heat.
Texture takes the lead
The Faux Fur Dog Sweater changes the mood through its surface. The photographed Periwinkle version pairs a shaggy blue back with a pink ribbed chest and green collar. Its longer fibers soften the outline, while the contrasting knit sections keep the shape clearly defined.
Here, texture performs the work that checks and stripes do elsewhere in the collection. The blue pile catches the light unevenly, giving the garment depth even within a relatively simple arrangement of colors.
According to VERLOOP’s product specifications, the Faux Fur sweater contains 60 percent nylon and 40 percent acrylic. It also features a harness opening and can be machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle, then dried flat.

An everyday wardrobe with character
Across the line, the repeated turtleneck silhouette creates continuity. The collection is offered in sizes XS through XL, and the individual product guides provide weight ranges and back lengths to help owners compare measurements.
For QEditorial, the strongest aspect of these designs is their visual specificity. A checkerboard, a striped collar or an unexpected pink-and-green pairing gives each piece a recognizable character. Even within a compact collection, there is room for several moods: graphic, exuberant, softly textured.
VERLOOP makes a persuasive case for taking color seriously in canine clothing. Its sweaters bring thoughtful pattern placement to an everyday garment, with enough playfulness to suit the personalities wearing them.
