Hadassa Serrano
Hadassa Serrano is a fashion writer based in Seattle, WA. Through her work as a writer, she explores the hidden rooms of fashion while highlighting its makers through her Substack page named “the human side of fashion,” where she writes reflective, thought-provoking, and observant articles that question the fashion industry and the systems around it. Considering herself a writer who writes from the heart with the mind, she contributes to highlighting the human side of fashion, noticing, observing, and exploring the industry rather than reporting on what happens in the world of fashion.
Her work is visibly human and reflective, focusing on what the industry ignores, sugarcoats, or leaves unspoken. Her goal is to highlight fashion makers — designers, creative directors, models — to explore the hidden rooms, and bring back the human side of fashion through reflective, honest, and thought-provoking articles.
At QEditorial Magazine, her work focuses on fashion culture, creative identity, industry commentary, and long-form editorial storytelling that explores the emotional, cultural, and human dimensions behind contemporary fashion.
